In Thailand, when you use WIFI at any store providing it e.g. coffee shops, restaurants and Internet cafes, the log data or log files will be stored for 90 days for possible police investigation. Police can use these files to trace digital fingerprints in their forensic investigation as they are recordings of everything that goes in and out of any server, listing actions that have taken place.This will help police investigate criminal activities related to national security, computer crimes and defamation.
